Corto Maltese – “The port tells Corto in 100 blocks”

Corto Maltese – “The port tells Corto in 100 blocks”

Conceived by Giorgio Amadei and Patrizia Zanotti (managing director of Cong SA, the company that manages the rights to Hugo Pratt’s work), the project consists of an extensive color path created between the rocks of the pier. Along the breakwater blocks that run alongside the mouth of the Misa River, an urban installation has taken shape, composed of one hundred panels, each with a cartoon taken from Corte sconta, known as arcana – the historic adventure published in 1974.

After being restored and repainted white, the concrete blocks were customized through the assembly of aluminum panels, creating a sequence of vignettes to read during the walk.
